5A Molecular Sieve
XINTAO Molecular Sieve type 5A is is a is the calcium-exchanged form of alkali alumina silicate with Type A crystal structure. Type 5A has an effective pore opening of 5 angstroms (0.5 nm). It will adsorb molecules with a kinetic diameter of less than 5 Angstrom and exclude those larger.
5A molecular sieve will contribute to a larger surface area for better adsorption and desorption efficacy and appropriate crushing strength to lower the polluted gas in systems.
The strong ionic forces of the divalent calcium cation make 5A an excellent choice for removing carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, alcohols and other oxygenates, hydrogen sulfide, methyl and ethyl mercaptans, and other polar molecules.
It is especially suitable for adsorbing H2O, CO2, it also can be used for the separation of normal- and iso- paraffins (C4 to C6 species), in PSA hydrogen purification and in oxygen concentrators.
XINTAO provides 5A oxygen-rich molecular sieves specifically for industrial oxygen production to produce high-concentration oxygen for customers' PSA/CPSA devices. Customer cases can prove that the highest oxygen concentration can reach 97%.
