Xintao secured a 2-million-yuan Lithium Based Molecular Sieve order from Europe, expanding from initial 250kg to 10 tons for VPSA oxygen production application.
The customer ordered 36 tons of oxygen molecular sieve and 6 tons of activated alumina from Xintao. Xintao provided customers with loading guidance.

13X Molecular Sieve: Primarily composed of sodium ions. It is an economical and versatile choice for drying, purification, and routine oxygen production, with a nitrogen-oxygen separation coefficient of approximately 3.0.
Lithium Molecular Sieve: Replaces sodium ions with lithium ions. Lithium ions are smaller and have a stronger charge, resulting in significantly higher nitrogen adsorption capacity, with a separation coefficient reaching 6.0-7.0.
Key Differences:
Performance: Lithium molecular sieves are far more efficient than 13X, producing higher oxygen yields with lower energy consumption.
Cost: 13X is less expensive; lithium molecular sieves are more expensive due to the availability of lithium raw materials.
Selection Guidelines:
13X: Suitable for routine applications where cost and performance requirements are not critical.
Lithium Molecular Sieve: The preferred choice for large-scale, high-efficiency VPSA (Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption) oxygen production systems.
If you need high-purity oxygen, oxygen concentrator are generally filled with 13X HP molecular sieves or lithium molecular sieves. Small oxygen generators with a capacity of 1-10L will use 0.4-0.8 molecular sieves, and large oxygen generators with a flow rate of 100-10000Nm³/hour use 1.3-1.7mm oxygen molecular sieves. Depending on the oxygen concentration requirements, lithium molecular sieves will be selected for high-concentration oxygen production requirements greater than 93%.
