ToggleHow To Install 13X Molecular Sieve Into Air Separation System ?
13X molecular sieve for air separation is through the improvement and optimization of raw powder, adhesive formula and molding process, and the kaolin binder is transformed into molecular sieve through secondary crystallization, which improves the unit adsorption capacity and strength of the product. It has the advantages of large adsorption capacity, high compressive strength, long service life and low regeneration energy consumption
Chemical formula: Na2O * Al2O3 * (2.8 ± 0.2) SiO2 * (6-7) H2O
Silicon aluminum ratio: SiO2 / Al2O3 ≈ 2.6-3.0
13X molecular sieve for air separation is a special molecular sieve produced to meet the special requirements of cryogenic air separation industry, further improve the adsorption capacity of molecular sieve for carbon oxide * * and water in the air, and avoid freezing tower phenomenon in the process of air separation. This product is suitable for various sizes of cryogenic air separation units.
Precautions For Installation Of Molecular Sieve
Before filling the molecular sieve, the sieve bed shall be checked to ensure that there is no leakage of molecular sieve, otherwise it shall be handled. There shall be no oil and other sundries in the tank; Personnel participating in filling shall not wear work shoes with nails to avoid stepping on the sieve bed; Wear clean, oil-free work clothes. Several standard height marks shall be made at the middle part. First check the ring chamber, fill aluminum glue to reach the standard height, and then fill molecular sieve.
Due to the large amount of molecular sieves, the molecular sieves produced by different kilns are generally different.
Therefore, the molecular sieves of the same batch of kilns should be evenly filled into the two molecular sieve tanks.
After the filling is completed, level it with a leveling mechanism to check whether the molecular sieve filling reaches the standard height (the ring chamber has been buried below the molecular sieve).
The molecular sieve shall be leveled again until the molecular sieve on the sieve bed is flat without concave convex problem. The filling work can be considered as finished after there is no problem in the inspection.
Air Separation Molecular Sieve Filling Instructions
For users with external activation conditions, follow the following steps:
1) Firstly, the molecular sieve to be filled is fully activated and ready for filling;
2) Disassemble the air inlet pipe and filter pipe at the top of the purifier to be filled with molecular sieve;
3) Put the activated molecular sieve into the container until it is full, and note the quantity of filled molecular sieve. In order to fill compactly, a wooden hammer can be used to knock on the head of the cylinder;
4) After the molecular sieve is installed, reinstall the pipeline, filter pipe and valve. It should also be noted that the screws connecting the flange should be tightened evenly and symmetrically; The valve shall be packed after degreasing; The packing of nitrogen heating valve shall also adopt high temperature resistant expanded graphite or asbestos thread.
For users without external activation conditions, the molecular sieve can be directly loaded into the purifier after removing the powder. The loading steps and precautions are the same as those in 2), 3) and 4) above. The only difference is that the newly replaced molecular sieve can only be used after regeneration in the device.
Regeneration Of Molecular Sieve
① The inlet temperature of the adsorption tower is 250-320 ℃, and the outlet temperature is ≥ 150 ℃.
② The regeneration gas must be dry and cannot contain components that can be adsorbed by molecular sieve (dry nitrogen).
③ The regeneration time can be kept constant for 3-4 hours.
④ Regeneration gas is often used for cooling to cool the bed for standby.
