Activated alumina desiccant is a porous form of granular alumina with high surface area for efficient adsorption of liquids and gases.

When the gas passes through alumina, the water in the gas will be adsorbed by activated alumina, so activated alumina balls are widely used in the deep drying of cracked gas, ethylene and propylene, hydrogen production, oil and gas separation, air separation, and air drying of electronic instruments , hydrogen peroxide dehydration, can also be used in the absorption of pollutants, such as h2s, so2, HF and paraffin in the exhaust gas.
