Hydrogen Production Processes
The feed gas for PSA can be crude hydrogen from various sources including steam methane reforming, partial oxidation, cryogenic purification, methanol plant purge gas, ethylene off-gas, styrene off-gas, gasification and ammonia plants.
In the PSA process, hydrogen is pressurized in the feed tower, recovered and purified after adsorption and filtration, and the adsorbed impurities are removed by reducing the pressure.
