Metal Pall ring packing was developed by German BASF company in the 1940s. It is made of metal sheet, and two rows of window holes with window leaves bend inside are opened on the side walls of the metal ring, There are five window leaves in each row bent into the ring, gathered in the center of the ring, almost overlapping. The upper and lower rows of window holes are staggered from each other, Generally, the total area of openings is about 35% of the metal ring.
Due to the multiple window holes on the ring wall, the gas and liquid distribution and mass transfer performance in the packing layer are greatly improved compared with Raschig rings.
The metal Pall rings produced by Xintao have a variety of materials to choose, such as carbon steel, stainless steel 304, 304L, 410, 316, 316L, etc. Size 16mm, 25mm, 38mm, 50mm, 76mm, etc. For specific parameters, please refer as below.
