Xintao Inert Ceramic Ball
The industrial ceramic ball used in our daily industrial production refers to the inert ceramic ball . Xintao inert ceramic balls is produced according National Standard HG/T 3683.1-2014, regular sizes are: 3mm（1/8 inch)，6mm（1/4 inch), 10mm（3/8 inch)，13mm（1/2 inch)，16mm（5/8 inch), 19mm（3/4 inch), 25mm（1 inch), 38mm（1.5 inch) and 50mm（2 inch).
Inert ceramic ball is also called by many users as ceramic supporting ball. It is made of very high quality chemical-porcelain clay materials as industrial alumina and kaolin according to the production formula deployment, after forming and high temperature baking, which has quite excellent stability, high mechanical strength and resistance to thermal shock. This makes them all ideal choice for support of all types of catalyst. It can not only withstand corrosion of acid, alkali and other organic solvents, but also withstand temperature changes during production. It has the characteristics of high temperature and high pressure resistance, low water absorption and stable chemical properties.
Difference between Inert Ceramic Ball and Activated Alumina.
1. Inert Ceramic Ball
Inert alumina ceramic ball is widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, chemical fertilizer, natural gas, environmental protection and other industries. It plays a role of supporting and compacting catalyst as tower packing materials. Its main function is to increase the distribution point of gas or liquid, to support and protect the active catalysis with low strength.
2. Activated Alumina
Activated Alumina, also known as modern water purification active bauxite. It is a porous, highly dispersed solid material with large specific surface.
Xintao Activated Alumina has characteristics of high strength, low abrasion, no soften in water, no expansion, no powdery no crack. It can widely used in the deep drying of cracked gas,ethylene and propylene, hydrogen-generation, air separation, instrument air drying and fluorine treatment for H2O2, also in the absorbing pollution material, such as H2S, SO2, HF and paraffin in the waste gas, especially in the drinking water defluorinate.
