Middle East Customers Repurchase XINTAO Molecular Sieve 13X APG for Cryogenic Air Separation Oxygen Production

In September 2019, after friendly negotiation and cooperation, a customer from the Middle East ordered 13X APG molecular sieve and activated alumina adsorbent from Xintao for the first time for samples.

In 2023, after 4 years of use tests, customers in the Middle East trusted Xintao's product quality and ordered XINTAO molecular sieve 13X APG and activated alumina again.

The customer is a leading supplier of medical and industrial gases, the company has over 40 years experience in the gas business and has been working with other sister companies since 1973. XINTAO's molecular sieves and activated alumina were chosen to be used in their cryogenic air separation oxygen production equipment after various exchanges.

In the process of oxygen production by cryogenic air separation (Cryogenic Air Separation,CAS)technology, the compressed air is first passed through an air separator (usually an oxygen production tower), and the carbon dioxide, water vapor, nitric oxide, etc. Impurities are absorbed. Then, through a series of processes such as compression, cooling, expansion, and re-expansion of the air, various gases in the air are condensed, liquefied, and separated at different speeds, and finally oxygen with a purity of more than 99.5% is obtained. Finally, the separated oxygen is refined and compressed for use in industrial production and medical care.

Molecular sieve plays a key role in the oxygen production of cryogenic air separation technology. Its main purpose is to remove impurity gases in the air and make oxygen more pure. At the same time, molecular sieves can also absorb moisture in the air, improve the working environment of cryogenic equipment, and increase the operating efficiency and life of the equipment. In the selection of molecular sieves, molecular sieve models with strong adsorption capacity, good physical and chemical stability and high reproducibility are usually selected, such as XINTAO molecular sieve 13X APG, etc.

XINTAO 13X APG molecular sieve is specially designed for the co-absorption of CO2 and H2O in the air cryogenic separation industry. It has larger capacity and faster adsorption speed, can remove CO2 and H2O, prevent bed gelation, and is suitable for any scale and any type of air refrigeration separation device in the world.

XINTAO activated alumina has an extremely high capacity for any liquid that may be present in the feed stream and can hold more than 50% of its weight in liquid. Can be used as absorbent, desiccant and catalyst carrier. It is also a trace water desiccant and polar molecule absorbent, which has strong adhesion to water, oxides, acetic acid, alkali, etc. according to the polarization of the absorbed molecules. It can be widely used in pyrolysis gas, deep drying of ethylene and propylene, hydrogen production, air separation, instrument air drying and fluorine treatment of H2O2. It can also be used to adsorb H2S, SO2, HF, paraffin and other pollutants in the industry.
