Abstract: The effect of different pretreatment conditions on the adsorption and separation of CO2 in flue gas by 5A molecular sieve was studied by experiments. The optimal pretreatment conditions were found to be drying in an oven at 100°C for 2 hours, followed by calcination in a 400°C high temperature muffle furnace for 2 hours and cooling to room temperature in a desiccator. The obtained 5A
zeolite molecular sieve can reach CO2 in the flue gas. The best adsorption and separation effect. The cyclic regeneration performance of 5A zeolite was also investigated. After 9 cycles of use, the adsorption and separation of CO2 was always higher than 50%, indicating that the 5A zeolite has good cyclic regeneration performance.
5A molecular sieve is a non-toxic, odorless, tasteless, white powder with good fluidity. It has a strong calcium ion exchange capacity, no pollution to the environment. It is an ideal phosphate-free detergent builder to replace sodium tripolyphosphate. It has strong adsorption capacity and is an ideal adsorbent and desiccant.
